For the 2009 model year, H-D transformed its venerable FLH line of touring bikes into vastly improved machines, thanks mostly to a much stiffer frame. Too bad that a slumping economy will cut into sales of the ’09 models.

2010 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight unveiled
Harley-Davidson introduced a new Dark Custom model to its Sportster line with the new Forty-Eight.
Following the pattern of the Dark Custom series, the new 2010 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight features a blacked out rubber-mounted Evolution 1200cc V-Twin engine, black wheels, and other blacked-out components including the air cleaner cover, hand controls and turn signals.
